Wow, what a great experience with Good Earth and the team they assigned to our project. Their creativity and attention to detail was spot on for us and our vision. What started with a conversation, then went to a visual plan, and then on to the project execution, was all seamless. The end result was a beautiful and natural water feature and tiered ground work. The small things really added the personal touch by Good Earth and the team. The special lighting, the different mulch types, and the use of existing trees and rocks produced a natural landscape. I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Good Earth. In the Spring of 2023, a tornado hit our neighborhood and leveled every tree in our backyard. After the clean-up, the yard was nothing more than mud and sparse areas of grass. We reached out to Good Earth for a complete landscape design and installation. They did not disappoint! Cody Culpepper met with us, discussed options, and created a beautiful design that was exactly what we envisioned. The installation was seamless. In just 8 days, the installation was complete! And, it was even more beautiful than we imagined. Good Earth has our trust and we look forward to working with them again on future projects.

With the help of Kyle Blakely with P.Allen Smith I started a project in late June involving creating a big, new brick New Orleans style courtyard around an existing fountain. The brick work turned out great, but the landscaping would make the project stunning. Chad Oppenhuizen from Good Earth and I discussed the plants. I had a good idea of what I wanted with both of these fellows input. Its now late June and early July and plant material is scarce. Chad jumped in and did “Whatever it Took” to make my vision a reality. The team that planted and place pots were “all in”. Every day everything was picked up, cleaned up and they were here until it was done. Its perfect. Kudos to all involved.

Cody Culpepper was our landscape designer and did a great job of creating the “Disney World” visual that we wanted. Jr., Ricardo and Marcus were a great representation of The Good Earth installation team and did an awesome job. They were professional and the job site was kept clean through the whole project with no wasted materials. We would highly recommend The Good Earth Garden Center!

We were ready for an updated landscape but after two usual winters, we lost so many trees & shrubs plus a problem with heavy rains washing out an area, it became a necessity. Knowing how I wanted it to look, but not specifics, Cody came & walked our yard as we discussed shade areas and sun areas, decided to take almost everything out and start over, then he designed a plan. The crew was top notched. I was amazed how much they could accomplish in a day. They were super nice, didn’t mind my chatting with them and always left my yard clean. Every afternoon, their tools/equipment were together over the to side out of sight and never once did they leave trash behind. The end result is exactly what I was wanting and more. The side of our house were the rain drainage had washed so bad, it so pretty now, I walk it every morning when I take my dogs out. Great crew to work with on a big project!

I also love the staff when I go by to pick seasonal plants. I am an amateur and they are always so helpful answering questions and making sure I know what I am doing when I leave.

Our experience with Zak Grothe and the Good Earth Garden Center could not have been any better. From the design phase all the way through the installation they totally exceeded all of our expectations . Our new home was built on a 5 acre wooded lot. We could never have imagined how beautiful it would be . Zak seamlessly blended the more formal areas near the house with the natural landscape that surrounds our home . His attention to detail and tireless crew have created something really special for us . We highly recommend their services.

We hired The Good Earth to design and install landscaping at our new home and could not be happier with the results! Working with Zechery from concept to completion was such a pleasant experience. We wanted a water feature and putting green, but wanted a natural feel. Using boulders, Zec created an incredible space extending off the patio with beautiful stone walls, a “bubbling boulder” and seating areas. We love what he did in the front yard, too. The layout, trees and plants all compliment the house beautifully. The work crews were very professional, friendly and paid great attention to detail. Chad did a fabulous job at our property in Saint Johns Place . We were basically starting from scratch in three different areas. He drew up and proposed a detailed plan for each area for our review. We agreed to the proposal with only minor suggestions and the project was underway. His team did beautiful rock work and plantings faster than we had imagined, particularly in very hot and dry conditions. Can’t wait till next Spring to see how it all looks after a few months of growth. Needless to say, we will continue to use Chad and The Good Earth for years to come.

Good Earth was great to work with on my landscaping project. Chad developed a plan I liked and the result is attractive and functional. My drainage problem was addressed and the stone path is a big improvement!! I highly recommend Good Earth for landscape design and installation.

In one day Chad Oppenhuizen and his crew tore out the old plantings in the front of the house, enriched the soil, and planted a variety of shrubs, one tree, perennials, and annuals. The next morning it was MAGICAL stepping outside to view Good Earth’s handiwork!

We bought a new home with a terrific brick courtyard that was terribly overgrown and unattractive. The architecture reminded us of New Orleans courtyards. Cody oversaw a complete transformation that took the courtyard down to dirt and built it back with a fountain, walkway, and landscaping that evokes NOLA every time I look outside my living room window. The eyesore is now a focal point of our home and a lovely entertaining space. Thank you Cody!

We are so, so thrilled with our new backyard. Our yard was basically a mud pit due to pooling rain water. The crew not only created a beautiful layout for our yard, but also solved our drainage problem and repaired our cracked sprinkler pipe. Our yard is FINALLY usable after 4 years of living in this house! They used quality materials and stone, and picked lovely plants for the beds. They also completed the job in record time; 1.5 weeks.

Good Earth has been a part of our lives for over 13 years. They have done design and the installation work on our residence, a commercial building and now a farm. Our projects have involved 3 different designers. Each has done a wonderful job and listened to my suggestions. However they always are honest and veto any ideas that will not work in the future. Our most recent project involved a farm with an orchard, apiary, garden and windbreaks. The attention to detail saved us from the major mistake most people make of just starting without a plan. We made few alterations to the plan, but we are extremely pleased with the functionality and can’t wait to see how the plans come to life in the future and began phase 2 of planning.

Financial Centre Corporation oversees The Ranch Commercial development in West Little Rock. We engaged The Good Earth to maintain the common area maintenance for The Ranch a few years ago. We have been very pleased with their professional service and timely response on any issues we incurred. We had a wonderful experience working with The Good Earth to install our landscape at our new home. Chad and Zach were very helpful with information regarding plant materials that would accommodate my wish list and also Arkansas’ climate . Wayne and his crew went above and beyond to install the job—often in the high heat, downpours and even Saturdays! We very much appreciate Cody and the Good Earth Team for designing and installing our backyard landscaping.  Cody asked good questions to assure the design met our style, landscaping goals and budget expectations.  I had reservations about installing in the Fall (vs Spring), but the Good Earth team did a good job in finding healthy plants and timely installation. I also appreciate knowing  that going forward the Good Earth Garden Center team is good about answering  plant care and maintenance questions.

I contacted Good Earth about tearing out all existing trees and flower beds at my shopping center and totally redesigning beds. It was a big job but Cody was up to the task and did such a great job that he now is about to start on phase 11. The Good Earth and Cody have exceeded my expectations. I recommend them highly.

We had a bubbling rock fountain placed in our yard. Cody came to our home after we submitted our request online and measured, talked to us about what exactly we wanted and made suggestions to help us through the project. It was amazing how careful they were not to damage our lawn or any surrounding areas or the flower beds in the tight space they had to work in. We are very pleased and happy with the results. He sent us pictures and plans of what he had in mind before starting the project. We will definitely use him again for more projects we have planned for our yard.

Good Earth Garden Center transformed our old waterfall and koi pond into a wonderful pondless waterfall surrounded by many beautiful flowers and plants. They added a fabulous dry creek bed that helps with drainage and yet adds so much beauty to our backyard. Once the project finally got underway, it only took the hard working crew a week to transform our backyard. We are so happy with the final result and appreciate Good Earth Garden Center for taking on this big project.

After moving to Wildwood Place last fall, I was thrilled with my new home, but not as excited about the standard landscaping. Some online research online and personal recommendations led me to The Good Earth landscaping team. I filled out the online request form in the spring and first met with Cody Culpepper at the end of February to discuss what I had in mind. Between the hectic spring and summer landscaping season, my own schedule, and the approval process required by the HOA, it took several months to finalize the plans. Throughout the planning phase, Cody was very attentive to my concerns and requests. We met at The Good Earth to make plant selections, and Cody made additional trips to my house to further assess the situation and mark the new beds. Installation of the project occurred in early August, and I’m extremely happy with the team’s efforts and with the results. My yard now includes a wide variety of attractive plants, a “stream” of river rocks in a wet area along the fence, natural looking edging stone around all the beds, plus boulders and stepping stones for added interest and utility. My front, side, and back yards are all greatly improved. Even my neighbors are enjoying the views! I look forward to seeing how the views change with the seasons, as well as working with The Good Earth to maintain my beautiful new landscaping.

We live on a difficult property, at the bottom of a hill, with a backyard that was full of problems. We were able to trust Good Earth to expertly execute a complete redesign, even when there were a few surprises. We got a beautiful and functional stone retention wall, drainage, irrigation, and landscaping. It was a complicated project and we’re thankful we had their team of experts on the job.

It’s difficult to describe how much the use and enjoyment of our property was improved. It’s a dream backyard that might outlast the house!

We are in our second year with our landscaping. It is amazing to watch the perennials coming back in this spring, and to see how well the color and heights were planned out. Cody helped us use native plants and grasses to create beds in our front and side yard, and he worked with us to stay within our budget by planning a yard that would look modest year one, but that would grown into something beautiful. Working with Cody was very easy. He was prompt in delivering plans and estimates, but also patient as we looked for the right plants and trees.

Cody did a fantastic job creating a plan for my front flower beds! His team was efficient and very knowledgeable about the plants they were bringing to me, and I can say after the winter has come and gone it is fantastic to see all of that work bloom beautifully this spring! We approached Goo Earth with a project for our backyard, Chad came for a consultation and based on our goals presented a very straightforward proposal and design. We approved the proposal and as soon as weather permitted the job was executed seamlessly in 2 days, our patio looks great and they were right on budget.

Good Earth is now caring for all landscaping and lawn maintenance needs at our facility. They have done an amazing job! They show up when they say they will be there. The workers are professional, friendly and quiet when working up around the building. They always leave the worksite tidy if a project extends into the next day. They recently placed a complicated French drain to redirect water from the front door. After a downpour yesterday, we have no more flooding under the front door. Great job, Good Earth! We are more than pleased to have them caring for us!

I cannot recommend The Good Earth enough. They did a beautiful job designing and landscaping my back and front yards and met all of my deadlines. I always get compliments on my yard! I had some hydrangeas that were struggling because they were not getting enough sun and Good Earth promptly replaced them with an alternative and refunded me for the originals. They were also very mindful of my budget and always transparent about cost beforehand. 5 stars!

Zak and his team are wonderful, very professional, highly experienced and creative. They were able to put a design together that transformed our acreage into a beautiful lawn. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable they were regarding plant and tree species as well as drainage and creating privacy with perimeter shrubs/trees. They didn’t take any shortcuts and went above and beyond in my opinion regarding the little details of the project. Even more impressive was the dedication to completing the project once started and working from early morning to sunset even through Labor Day weekend. I highly recommend The Good Earth!

The Good Earth just finished a massive landscaping project at our home, and it’s just beautiful! Our project manager and the crew were so professional and friendly. They always let me know when they were coming, and if there was a change in the schedule! They cleaned up each and every day, even when they were coming back in the morning!
