When you’re at Good Earth, it’s like you’re family. You feel right at home, and you’re always welcome. That’s because we run Good Earth like a family, not a corporation.

Everyone here has different roles, but everyone pulls their own weight. Everyone’s voice is heard, and every opinion matters. Especially yours, the customer.

We choose our staff carefully, train them thoroughly, and guard them jealously. We look first for a great, outgoing, pleasant personality. Next, a love of plants, nature and the great outdoors. Then, a solid work ethic. Some have horticultural degrees. We’re pleased to say that most folks we hire stay with us for 3 to 4 years, some longer.

We’re exceptionally proud of the fact that we have 6 trained Nurserymen (links to Meet the Nurserymen Page) on our staff. Out of only 200 or so Arkansas Certified Nurserymen, Good Earth has the highest concentration in the state. That means we can offer you the best advice, the most modern and proven tips and techniques, and experience-driven plant recommendations for your individual terrain.

You can ask anyone on of our staff to assist with a garden design and know with certainty that you’re receiving quality advice, based on experience. And since we raise all of our own perennials, we can provide you with accurate advice on planting, pruning, care and feeding.

Beyond our retail operation, we also offer residential and commercial landscape design, construction and maintenance. Recently we completed the “Green Roof”, a sustainable, low-water habitat that offers distinct energy advantages while providing visual and biological benefits to the larger community.

We maintain some of the largest commercial properties in the area, and we also offer this same level of expertise and care to our residential customers. This well-rounded approach provides us with a better perspective into landscaping and planting, and allows us to offer that expertise to you.
